Looking To The Future

The nationally award winning The School of Arts + Enterprise (The SAE) continues to look ahead to ensure a strong and stable future. Beginning in the winter of  2021 The SAE began the process of developing a five year strategic plan for the next chapter of our future. Focusing on major pillars for success, the final strategic plan will be presented to the school community in late summer, 2022.

Additionally, joining The SAE this year in a variety of key supporting roles as our Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Partner is Dr. Denise Davis-Cotton, founder of the Detroit School for the Arts and the Director of Florida Center for PAInT at the University of Florida - Sarasota. Dr. Cotton’s brings a four decade long history of accessible and equitable education practices to our school and will be supporting all aspects of The SAE’s staff in ensuring school and community equity.

For more information on The School of Arts + Enterprise’s Strategic Plan please feel free to contact either of the Committee Co-Chair’s - Ms. Alexandra Oliva (she/her/ella) Director of Student Outreach & Engagement at aoliva@thesae.org or Phil Miller (he/him/his) Artistic Director at pmiller@thesae.org

“The SAE has helped me grow as not just an artist, but a person. I can't imagine where I'd be without the SAE, and I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend.”
