Find Your People At The SAE

“I’m really happy. I’m doing what I love.”

“Having people around that really care about you and motivate you to be better is what’s really important.”

“The SAE is one huge family.”

(2024-25 SAE Students)

We don’t know what kind of experiences you’ve had in school before coming to The School of Arts and Enterprise. But when you walk through the doors of The SAE, you can tell that things are different. At The SAE, you’ll find a welcoming community of students, teachers and staff that are ready to support your fresh start in a new school. And part of that fresh start is the discovery of who you are and what you want to be.

We Want You Here

We value all voices and celebrate all differences at The SAE. Enrollment is audition-free and tuition-free, which keeps our school open to everyone - regardless of background. Our small-school environment means classmates and staff know your name and say hi, and treat each other with mutual respect. At The SAE, you’ll find friends who value – and maybe even share – your unique personality and style!

Learn What You Love

Most of the time we gravitate towards liking what we are good at. But to find out what you’re good at, you need to try a lot of different activities. The SAE has many opportunities for you to learn new subjects and explore different types of artistic expression, starting in 6th grade. Wednesday Afternoon Arts offers a schedule of 15 different arts programs to try, no experience required. You may be surprised at what you discover about yourself in the process!

Break The Mold

A fundamental way we are not like a traditional 6th-12th grade school is our ability to be a flexible learning community. Project-based learning and block scheduling give you time to work on projects and rehearse - on a timeline that fits your needs. Students are supported with time during the day to finish homework. Our major and dual major programs for grades 9-12 are intensive programs of study, but our studios and classrooms can be accessed after school hours for project work in your major. At The SAE, you’ll have the time and space to get after whatever you’re passionate about, with classmates who care as much as you do.

Take Your Next Steps With Us

At The SAE, your community doesn’t stop at graduation. You’ll leave here ready to pursue a career or  post-secondary education in an area that you love - and you won’t do it alone. We’ll work with you to identify directions you can take after graduation, and then create a plan to get you to your dreams. From industry connections to alumni support and admissions contacts, our extensive network will help you take your next steps. And don’t forget to come back and check in - we care about your future and want to hear all about it!
